Every change that reaches an organizer or a guest, newest first. We keep this in the open because the thing you most want to know about a young product is whether anyone is still working on it.
What we’re working on
No dates, on purpose. These are the next things, not promises.
Refunds you can issue yourself
Today you email us and we do it the same day. It should be a button.
Repeat an event
Copy last month's night — tiers, menu, guest list — instead of rebuilding it.
Your team on the dashboard
Invite and manage crew from the web, not just the app.
Counter switch on the web
The dashboard shows whether the bar is open but can't turn it on yet.

A run of nights, set up once
Throwing the same night every week? Build the whole run in one go — pick the days, the times and when it ends, and every date is created for you with its own tickets and its own door. Change the price across all of them, or just one. It gets a single page fans can bookmark.
Web
Promos
A ticket that sits outside your price ladder and runs across the top of the night — two for one, early doors, whatever you're offering. It sells alongside whatever tier is live instead of waiting its turn, and stops on its own after the stretch of time you set.
Web
Say something across the top of a night
Words with nothing to buy — a guest DJ, a late licence, a dress code. Put them on one night or across a run. They stay up until the night happens, or until you take them down.
Web
Hold a seat while someone pays
Set a few minutes and a seat is kept for a buyer who is partway through checkout, so two people don't race for the last ticket. Off unless you ask for it, because a timer nobody asked for is pressure, not a feature.
Web
Tell buyers your refund policy
No refunds, up to 24 hours before, up to 7 days before, or get in touch. It shows with the date and the venue so somebody knows before they pay rather than after. Say nothing and nothing is shown.
Web
A flyer is optional now
Publish without one. Your event page and the link you share fall back to your promoter logo, or a card made from your event's name and date — so a link you paste still looks like something. Upload a flyer whenever you have one and it takes over.
Web
The event dashboard, tidied
Promos and your flyer have their own tiles now, beside your tickets, so you can see what's set without going looking — and a missing flyer says so instead of staying quiet. Switches are green when something is on and red when it isn't. Tickets is called Admissions, because drinks and merch are tickets too.
Web
Nights that run past midnight
Set a date, a start and an end, and say how many days later it ends. A 9pm-to-2am night needs nothing extra, and a weekend-long festival is now something you can actually enter. On the create page and when you edit an event.
Web
Creating an event, rebuilt
Four short sections instead of one long list, with a preview of what a buyer sees beside it as you type. If something is still missing it says which, next to the button, rather than leaving it grey.
Web
An event can say who gets in
All ages, 18 and over, or 21 and over, shown with the date and the venue so a guest knows before they pay instead of at the door. Say nothing and nothing is shown.
Web
Flyers upload faster
A photo straight off a phone is shrunk before it is sent rather than going up whole. A format we cannot read now says so by name instead of just failing.
Web
Tap to Pay on iPhone
Take a card at the door or the bar with nothing but your iPhone — no reader to buy, charge or pair. Your guest holds their card, phone or watch to the top of yours. Needs iPhone XS or later on iOS 18.
iPhone
A help center
Short answers at shabanga.com/help, organized by what you’re trying to do rather than by feature, each with the exact place to go in the app and on the dashboard.
Web
You choose where the donation fee sits
Inside the gift so a guest sees one clean number, or on top so you keep the whole amount. Inside is the default — a tip jar should show one number.

Donations
Throwing a free party? Guests chip in from your event page, with amounts you suggest or one of their own. Comes with its own Donate code to print for the door.

Shabanga is public
On the App Store and on Google Play. Buyers never needed an account and still don't — the app is for the people running the night.
